1. Introduction
ClearDose ("we," "our," or "us") is a prescription label management application designed for sales personnel of pharmacies and hospitals in Nigeria. This Privacy Policy explains what data the ClearDose mobile application collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that data.
By using the ClearDose mobile application, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the application.
2. Data We Collect
The ClearDose mobile application collects the following categories of information:
2.1 Facility Information
- Facility name, address, and contact details — used to identify which pharmacy or hospital printed a prescription label.
- Facility logo — displayed on printed prescription labels for identification purposes.
2.2 Authentication & Session Data
- Login credentials — email and password used for secure login and session management.
- Authentication tokens — used to maintain your session and ensure secure access to the application.
2.3 Drug & Medicine Catalog
- NAFDAC-registered drug database — a local catalog of medicines for quick search and access when creating prescription labels.
- Extemporaneous (compounded) drugs — custom medicines created by your facility for use in prescriptions.
2.4 Prescription & Patient Data
- Prescription records — medication details, dosage instructions, and label content created through the application.
- Patient information — names and phone numbers used for prescription identification and optional SMS reminders.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To generate accurate prescription labels that identify the dispensing facility.
- To authenticate users and manage secure sessions.
- To provide a searchable drug catalog for efficient prescription creation.
- To send optional SMS medication reminders to patients (when enabled by the facility).
- To maintain prescription records for the facility's operational use.
4. Payments & Subscriptions
The ClearDose mobile application does not process payments, collect financial information, or contain any wallet functionality. All subscription management, billing, and payment processing are handled exclusively through the ClearDose Facility Admin Dashboard, which is a separate web application.

5. Advertising & Third-Party Tracking
ClearDose does not display advertisements. The application is a dedicated prescription label management tool with a single purpose: to help pharmacy and hospital sales personnel generate accurate medication labels efficiently.
We do not partner with, engage, or collaborate with any advertising agencies, ad networks, or data brokers. Your data is never sold, licensed, or shared with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
ClearDose does not employ any form of third-party tracking, behavioral advertising, or interest-based data collection. We do not use advertising identifiers, tracking pixels, or any mechanisms designed to profile users for commercial advertising.
The only third-party service integrated into ClearDose is our SMS delivery provider (Termii), which is used exclusively for sending medication reminders to patients when this feature is enabled by the facility. No data is shared with this provider for advertising purposes.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. Your data is used solely to provide the ClearDose service to your facility.
We may share data only in the following circumstances:
- With your facility administrator — prescription and patient data is accessible to your facility's admin account for management purposes.
- SMS delivery — patient phone numbers are shared with our SMS provider (Termii) solely for delivering medication reminders when this feature is enabled.
- Legal requirements — if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of ClearDose, our users, or the public.
7. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), secure token-based authentication, and encrypted password storage. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your facility maintains an active ClearDose account. If your facility's subscription expires and is not renewed, your data may be retained for a grace period before being subject to deletion.
9. Account Deletion
Facility administrators can request account and data deletion through the ClearDose Facility Admin Dashboard. Please note that the ClearDose mobile application is designed for sales personnel of a facility (pharmacists and hospital staff). Individual user accounts are managed by the facility administrator, and access credentials may be revoked or changed at any time by the facility if a staff member is no longer employed by the facility.
10. Children's Privacy
ClearDose is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the application after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
